Adapters

ACL offers a comprehensive range of threaded adapters that are designed to allow a clamp flange to be connected directly to a threaded pipe, tube or fitting. Adapters are available as either male or female and our standard stocked items are supplied with a BSP thread.

All threaded adapters are manufactured from solid 316L bar stock. This offers both excellent material properties and guarantees good controllable surface finishes.
The flanged clamping side of the BSP adapters are dimensioned and manufactured to ‘mate up’ directly with corresponding ferrules to BS4825, ISO & DIN32676 standards, completing the clean, crevice free transition between threaded pipe and the Tri-Clamp union.

Male adapters are manufactured with a tapered thread as standard although parallel threads can also be offered upon request. Female adapters are manufactured with a parallel thread and are supplied with an internal PTFE seal. The tapered thread of the male coupled with the female’s parallel thread ensures a tight pressure resistant seal. All adapters are supplied with machined flats for wrench applications and to aid assembly.

Due to the manufacturing process we are able to offer “non-standard” adapters to suit all customer requirements.
